Microsoft Windows Workflow Foundation WWF Experts

Windows Workflow Foundation, is the new framework for building workflow-enabled applications.  It consists of a programming model, a full-blown workflow engine, and developer tools for building custom workflow solutions.  Windows Workflow Foundation is supported by a companion set of extensions to Visual Studion 2008. These extensions contain a visual workflow designer which allows users to design workflows, a visual debugger which enables the users to debug the workflow designed, and a project system which enables the user to compile their workflows inside Visual Studio 2008.

The .NET Framework 3.0 "workflow runtime" provides common facilities for running and managing the workflows and can be hosted in any CLR application from a Windows Service to a Windows Form Application to a Web Application.  As part of the .NET Framework 3.0, it is automatically available on Windows Vista release, and available by download for Windows XP as well as Windows Server 2003.

If you are looking for hands-on experience on the .NET Framework 3.0, and general architectural guidance and experience, the profesionals at PPC Professional Services are a phone call away.
A workflow is the process by which a file, business operation, or transaction undergoes in the course of everyday business; and sometimes not so everyday. A workflow can be as simple as requiring a manager to review and approve a document, or as complex as a multi-node conditional sequence with event handlers. Windows Workflow is incorporated into many Microsoft products and technologies such as SharePoint and BizTalk.
PPC Professional Services provides process engineering to organizations to manifest physical process into virtual environments to create productivity and efficiency. We work with your organization to either establish formalized processes, or take an existing process and orchestrate it through a platform such as SharePoint for participants to collaborate with.
How Can Workflows Help My Organization?
In an organization, inefficiency in business processes are not in the execution by the individual, rather in the time between steps in the sequence. How long does it take to get signatures from a group, collect feedback, or facilitate a return transaction? Those minutes and hours create lags and latency in business process. By placing a workflow process in a virtual environment the time between nodes of a process can be reduced from days to milliseconds. Stewards of the next step are notified, take ownership, and execute without waiting for a physical activity to occur.
